Sugarplum™ Nourishing Lip Balm

I love the color of this - it's so beautiful and as soon as I use up my Sugarplum balm I'm about to trek to Lush or somewhere and try to find a shade match, because I love it that much. Unfortunately, the formula of this just isn't amazing and I find it so drying, especially after half an hour I feel like if there was any moisture in my lips it gets sucked out. I got it as a Christmas present and wanted to love it so badly, but this just isn't it. Ethique does amazing other products, I just won't be buying this one again.

This is a generously sized balm that is fairly pigmented. I'd compare it to Clinique Almost Lipstick, maybe slightly less. The texture is grainier and with less slip than most balms. I find I need to warm it up a little on my skin to get it to spread well. However, I think the colour is great, it wears well, and I don't think about it once it's been applied. The true test of a comfortable balm! It doesn't feel filmy or greasy. It feels completely natural.

Love the pop of colour!

I want to be a lipstick person but I hate the feeling of wearing it, so I've been using this in place of lipstick and I love it! It compliments my lip and skin colour, and has a good amount of tint. I like the fresh mint scent too. Very comfortable to wear and quite moisturizing.

Love the color. Very buildable if I want a bold look. Or one swipe gives just a wash a color. Wish it was a little more hydrating and wish it came in other scents. Overall happy and I’d buy it again!
