Participation and MembershipParticipation in the rewards is open to all Ethique customers worldwide. You must be at least the age of majority in your state or country of residence to opt into our rewards. If you are under the age of majority, you must have permission from a parent/guardian who must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, please do not participate in the rewards, or contact firstname.lastname@example.org to opt out.
Calculation of rewards points
Spending in our online store (ethique.com, ethiqueworld.com or ethique.co.uk) will earn you points provided you use the email associated with your Ethique Rewards account. You can also earn rewards through other activities, as detailed on our Rewards page.
How to spend Rewards:
For every $1 spent, you will earn 1 point.
Ethique Rewards points and redeemed discount vouchers never expire.
Ethique reserves the right to change points if we believe someone is unfairly accumulating points outside of the rules set out in this document. Points are not redeemable for cash or monetary value. It’s not possible to earn points outside of our online store.
Ethique redeemed discount codes
- Directly relates to the final amount you pay at checkout,
- Is calculated after discounts, shipping and tax have been applied,
- Includes the purchase of gift cards, but not the redemption,
- Doesn’t include returns, reimbursements or refunds.
You will change tiers by spending more, annually.
- Green Gecko $0.00-$299.99NZD.
- Sustainable Seahorse $300.00-$699.99NZD
- Regenerative Rhino $700+ NZD
Annual spend is based off the year commenced as of 1st June 2021.
You will be moved to the next tier once you have reached the required annual spend. You will then enjoy the benefits of that tier for the next 12 months. You cannot move down a tier within those 12 months, but. You can move up.
If a rewards tier has been assigned to you in connection with a breach of these Terms and Conditions or otherwise incorrectly allocated to you, including as a result of an error on the part of Ethique, we reserve the right to adjust your rewards tier to the extent necessary to address the breach or error. If you obtain a refund or reimbursement for goods purchased from Ethique, an adjustment is also made to the rewards account in the amount of the refund granted.
Transfers and customer files
Rewards points are non-transferrable: any transactions by another customer on Ethique’s online store cannot be transferred to a different customer for someone else to obtain rewards points.
There can only be one customer for each rewards membership. As a customer and rewards member, it’s your responsibility to ensure that you use the correct email when you make a purchase.
Rewards points cannot be sold, transferred, assigned or otherwise dealt with except in accordance with these terms and conditions. Rewards points have no cash or monetary value and cannot be taken or redeemed as cash, unless stated as part of the Ethique rewards scheme.
Rewards and benefits are non-transferable.
Points for reviews
Points for reviews will only be applied after they are uploaded to our online store. Some reviews are flagged for spam or to be responded to by our team so there can be a delay in these points appearing. Genuine reviews only will receive points. If you have any questions, get in touch with us.
Any rewards, gifts, benefits or offers communicated as part of the Ethique rewards may include specific offer terms and conditions, including expiry dates.
Ethique will communicate to rewards members when a member-only benefit is available to be redeemed. These will happen at a time determined by Ethique. Member-only benefits could be a gift with purchase, exclusive content, vouchers, bonus points or other promotions. Member-only benefits are available to all members regardless of Tier. Member-Only benefits will be available for a defined period as communicated in marketing material or until all stock is allocated.
Change of details
You should advise Ethique of any change to your details by logging into your account and managing your details, or by contacting email@example.com. Ethique is not responsible for any failure to notify us of your change of details which may result in you not obtaining the benefit of rewards communications and rewards or benefits or the loss or downgrade of a tier status.
Suspension, Modification and/or Termination
Ethique reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to disqualify any individual we finds, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Rewards program.
Ethique may immediately suspend or terminate your participation in the Ethique Regenerative Rewards program if you: (a) have breached these Terms and Conditions; (b) have engaged, or may engage, in fraudulent conduct, or conduct that is suspected to be fraudulent, in relation to Ethique limited, the Ethique rewards programme or your customer file; (c) have engaged in inappropriate conduct that undermines the reputation or legitimate interests of Ethique; (d) have supplied or are attempting to supply false or misleading information; (e) are selling, assigning, transferring, acquiring, or offering to sell, assign, transfer or acquire any Ethique rewards, gifts, offers or benefits other than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; or (f) act in a hostile, abusive or aggressive manner towards any Ethique staff or any other Customers online.
Where your right to participate in the Ethique rewards is suspended or terminated, any benefits, rewards and rights and rewards tiers you may have at that time under the Rewards programme shall thereby suspend or terminate (as the case may be).
We reserve the right under our sole discretion to modify, suspend or cancel the Ethique Regenerative Rewards program without notice for any reason.
