What's Changed — July 1st, 2026
We've redesigned our loyalty program to give you more value. The way points look has changed, but your rewards are worth more than ever — here's what's different:

Why do the point numbers look smaller? Because each point is now worth 10× more ($0.10 vs $0.01). The actual dollar value you earn per purchase is higher across every tier — and it's now easier to qualify for higher tiers too.
What about my existing points? They've been converted automatically. Just divide your old balance by 10 — the dollar value stays exactly the same. For example, 11,514 old points = 1,151 new points = the same rewards value.
Why did we change it?
We wanted a rewards program that actually feels rewarding — one where you reach meaningful milestones faster and get more back on every purchase. The old program made it harder than it needed to be to climb tiers and redeem points. This new structure is simpler, more generous, and built to grow with you. It also means we can keep investing in the program long-term, so it stays a genuine benefit rather than something we'd have to quietly wind down. A win for you, and one we can sustain.
Getting Started
How does the Ethique Rewards program work?
It's simple: shop, earn points, redeem for discounts. When you create an account and make purchases, you earn points that can be used toward money off future orders. The more you shop, the higher your tier — and the more points you earn per dollar spent.
How do I join?
Just create an Ethique account at ethique.com/account. Signing up earns you 50 bonus points straight away. Everyone starts as a Bar Raiser — no purchase required.
Earning Points
How do I earn points?
There are lots of ways to rack up points:
- Join the program — +50 points, one time
- Place an order — 1–2 points per $1 spent, depending on your tier
- Birthday bonus — +50 points on your birthday
- Anniversary bonus — +50 points on your enrollment anniversary each year
- Refer a friend — +100 points per friend who makes a purchase
- Write a review — up to +75 points
- Follow on TikTok — +10 points
- Follow on Instagram — +10 points
How many points do I earn per dollar spent?
It depends on your tier: Bar Raiser earns 1 pt per $1 (free to join), Changemaker earns 1.5 pts per $1 (after $100 spent), and Eco Champ earns 2 pts per $1 (after $200 spent).
How does the referral program work?
When you refer a friend, they get 10% off their first order. Once they complete a purchase, you receive 100 points. There's no limit — refer as many friends as you like and earn 100 points for each one who shops with us.
VIP Tiers
What are the VIP tiers and how do I qualify?
There are three tiers, each with better earn rates and perks:
- Bar Raiser — Free to join. Earn 1 pt per $1. Free shipping on orders over $30.
- Changemaker — Reach $100 in cumulative spend. Earn 1.5 pts per $1. Free shipping on orders over $15.
- Eco Champ — Reach $200 in cumulative spend. Earn 2 pts per $1. Free shipping on all orders.
All tiers include a birthday gift and access to bonus point events.
How do I move up to the next tier?
Tiers are based on your cumulative spend. Once you've spent $100 total, you automatically move to Changemaker. At $200, you become an Eco Champ. Your tier updates automatically — you don't need to do anything.
What perks do I get with free shipping?
- Bar Raiser: Free shipping on orders over $30
- Changemaker: Free shipping on orders over $15
- Eco Champ: Free shipping on all orders, no minimum
Redeeming Points
How do I redeem my points?
You can redeem your points in two ways: visit the Rewards page to generate a discount code and apply it at checkout, or redeem directly in your cart. Each reward has a minimum order value — make sure your cart meets the threshold before redeeming.
What can I redeem my points for?
Points can be redeemed for dollar-off discounts on future orders:
- $5 off — 50 pts (min $10 order)
- $10 off — 100 pts (min $20 order)
- $20 off — 200 pts (min $40 order)
- $30 off — 300 pts (min $60 order)
- $40 off — 400 pts (min $80 order)
Is there a minimum order to redeem points?
Yes — each reward requires a minimum cart value. The minimum is always 2× the discount amount (e.g., the $5 reward requires a $10 order, the $10 reward requires a $20 order, and so on).
Account & Points
What happened to my points from the old program?
Your points have been automatically converted — nothing is lost. Since each point is now worth 10× more, your old balance has been divided by 10. The dollar value of your rewards is exactly the same. For example: 11,514 old points → 1,151 new points → still worth the same amount in discounts.
Do points expire?
Points expire after 12 months of account inactivity. As long as you're shopping with us at least once every 12 months, you have nothing to worry about. If your points are approaching expiry, we'll send you 3 reminder emails before they expire so you have plenty of time to use them.
