HYDRATING Shampoo and Conditioner Bar Bundle

Both the shampoo and conditioner bars are lovely products, and my hair is really soft and shiny. I do have a comment on the new shapes though. The shape of the shampoo is good - sits really well in your hand and very easy to use, though I do find that I go through it faster, maybe because there is more surface area of the bar in contact with your head as you swipe. The conditioner though is an annoying shape - not natural to hold at all and easily dropped. The old round one was much better, if you need to have a different shape to the shampoo. Apart from cute marketing I can't imagine why the cone shape was chosen. However, the quality of the product outweighs all of that and I would still recommend!

I was previously using Ethique’s Mintasy shampoo, which was unfortunately discontinued. I loved the scent and it worked well for me. I emailed them to ask for an alternative and received a prompt response leading me to this scent. Was super impressed with their customer service, so if you aren’t sure which one might work for you- hit them up.

I have tried soooo many shampoos. I have wavy medium to thick hair and wash it about two to three times a week. Most bar shampoos seem to work like rubbing soap in your hair. Super drying, and then hair is greasy the next hour. This one is like actually using liquid shampoo but without feeling terrible tossing a massive plastic bottle away when you are done.

It’s a subtle scent which I like. I’ve noticed all of their scents are really good. Make sure it’s the right bar for your hairstyle. If it’s your first time using bar soap, or you are about to give up in finding the right fit, I really do think Ethique is superior to any other brand. No fuss packaging- no plastics and a product that works and lasts. Won’t be using any other brand.
