My hair feels absolutely wonderful after using this conditioner bar. I LOVE Ethique and their products and was not disappointed when I added this to my order.
A little too heavy for my fine hair
It is simply my favorite. I was a skeptic..... but it really, really made my frizzy hair smooth!
Unfortunately it doesn't live up the advertising. It hasn't made my hair any less frizzy, any more manageable or any smoother.
It's certainly not awful, it's just doesn't do that what it says it should. It's not a nice shape to hold either! So awkward. It came out of the box covered in white stuff, I wasn't sure what this was so washed it off before I used it which took a bit.
My roots, which are on the oily side, do tolerate it which is a bonus.

The white layer you noticed is a natural process called blooming, which happens when some of the natural oils and butters crystallize due to temperature changes during storage and shipping. We want to reassure you that this is completely safe, doesn’t affect performance, and washes away with the first use.
We also hear you on the bar shape—it’s designed for ease of use and longevity, but we know that preferences vary, and we’re always looking at ways to improve the user experience.
