I am a long time customer and this shampoo has always been my ride or die. I just used the new bar and from the first lather I could tell that you changed the ingredients. Also not a fan of the fact that the new packaging isnât compostable. I want to see you all succeed but not at the cost of the quality of your products. So currently Iâm leaning disappointed and sad. The price goes up and the quality goes down.

There has been a small update to the Everyday Shine Shampoo formulation (formerly Pinkalicious), with the addition of Vitamin C and Vitamin B5 to help support scalp and hair healthâbut the core cleansing performance and gentle surfactant base remain the same. Weâve also refreshed the look and shape of the bar to improve usability, and we know this can feel like a big change when youâre used to a favourite.
To clarifyâyes, our packaging is still home-compostable and recyclable. The new foil detail is just a design update, and it wonât affect its ability to break down safely in your compost bin. We just made it a little shinier while keeping it planet-friendly. đâ¨
As for pricing, weâve simplified things so that all shampoo and conditioner bars are now $17 in the US (thatâs a $1 increase for shampoo and a $1 decrease for conditioner). These small adjustments help us keep our quality high while staying accessible, especially as material and production costs rise.
We really value your feedback and hope youâll give the new bars a little more timeâbut if not, weâre always here to help find something that works better for you.

I continue to buy this product because it checks all the boxes for me! Environmentally effective, easy to hold and use, thick, clean hair that doesnât âperfume the roomâ and incredible lather that is so luxurious!!! Love it and recommend it highly!
