An average bottle of shampoo or body wash can be made up of 80% water. Conditioner is even higher – about 95%. So basically, you’re paying for a big ol’ plastic bottle of water. That seems pretty unnecessary when there’s water in your shower already, right?
Our bars are concentrated, so a conditioner bar is equivalent to five bottles (or 1.7L) of liquid conditioner, usually lasting 6-8 months. Using one conditioner bar, instead of the equivalent 5 bottles, saves up to 5L of water. A lot of precious water is used to make each plastic bottle, not to mention the carbon produced mining and manufacturing them!
