pretty good

didn't notice much volumising effect. i thought it was going to leave my hair with a weird texture or residue but once you put on conditioner it feels soft and fine.

New shape is a dealbreaker for me

I don't like the new crescent moon shape . While I understand the need to replace the previous Borg-like cube shape, it would have been better to replace it with a simple rectangular shape, much like a bar of soap, which would easily fit into a standard lidded travel soap container. This new shape is too high to fit into my standard container, so I have resorted to storing it in an old peanut butter jar, which is not exactly the aesthetic I was going for in my bathroom. The storage trays sold on this site won't work for me, as they are completely open and don't protect the bars from getting wet. I also find the new shape difficult to hold and use. Curving it gently like a bar of Dove soap would have been a better alternative. Although I love the Ethique brand, I am actively seeking a different brand because of this "improvement."

Highly Recommend! WOW, love the new Volumising Shampoo + Conditioner Bars

I've been using Ethique products for several years. I have fine hair that needs lift and moisture; I'm a natural strawberry blonde, and my hair can be a little on the coarser side, and I live in a dry climate. I was using the former Sweet & Spicy volumizing shampoo bar and had good results. Now I've just tried the new formula for the volumizing shampoo and conditioner, and I LOVE the way my hair feels and how it's behaving, even from the very first use. Yaaaay! I'm so happy. Great job, Ethique. I'm an eco-friendly advocate and warrior, and I use several of your products.
