Mango butter is a rich, naturally occurring butter made from soft fats that are extracted from the seeds of mango fruit.
It is traditionally used as a luxurious lotion thanks to its smoothing texture which doesn't feel greasy on the skin. It's packed with fatty acids such as stearic and oleic acid and is an excellent emollient for dry skin and hair.
Although there is a subtle sweetness to its scent, mango butter (unfortunately) doesn't really smell like a ripe, juicy mango.
