Natural fragrances are not essential oils, nor are they synthetic fragrances. They are made in a lab, but they are made using only natural ingredients, from the plant of origin (coconut, or vanilla in our case) to make an oil that smells like we expect it to. There is no such thing as coconut essential oil and coconut oil unfortunately doesn't smell quite strong enough when used in shampoo and conditioner for us to get away without using a scent.
