Made with lightweight (but mighty) moringa oil for nourishment and orange peel powder to cleanse, this refreshing citrusy number is soap-free, and pH balanced to leave your hair soft and full of shine – minus the grease!

Same amazing concentrate - now inside a home-compostable bag! You may notice that our concentrated powders now have slightly different packaging: a little bag which sits inside our home-compostable box. A complexity of using a home-compostable box is that they can be very fragile, and we want to ensure that these concentrates arrive to you safe, secure, and ready to mix! Of course, the little bags inside are compostable, biodegradable, and made from a renewable plant source. Depending on your region, the packaging you receive may vary as we transition to include the clever little bags. It's a nope for me

Have been using the balancing shampoo and conditioner combo for a few days now. Day 1 (a few hours after mixing) the conditioner had more lather than the shampoo and I couldn't tell which was which even though I was very intentional about what bottles I put them in. Day 2 shampoo had no lather at all and hair felt more greasy than before I washed it. Day 3 tried using less product based on Ethique comments to other users about this problem, but still had the same issue, and felt more greasy than before washing again.

I won't likely be repurchasing any of the concentrates. I really wanted to love them, because I'm sensitive to coconut oil and most low-waste hair care products contain it, really limiting my options.

Not great

I have to use so much, and my hair still feels heavy and oily on the back of my head. I had this problem when I tried it before, but since it said it was updated I gave it another try. Switching back to the bar.

Happy with this product

I made concentrate up in a shaker bottle and let sit for about 48 hours before using. I have oily hair and I'm hoping in time this shampoo will balance my hair so I doubt have to wash so often. Have only used twice so need more time before a final conclusion is made

Going to go back to bars.

I’m not sure if the amount of soap I needed for the concentrate vs the bar is actually higher. I do know that I had to use much more soap than I am used to with other liquid shampoos. I won’t order concentrate again as the extra steps of adding water and the quick rate of usage make the bar a superior product for me.

Partner didn't like it, not ordering again

He didn't like the older version, and he had the same issue with this one. He needs to get handfuls of shampoo to wash his short hair each time. His hair is oily but not even that oily. If he doesn't do that, it doesn't get clean. Unfortunately, they didn't work for him.
