Botanica™ Floral Deodorant Stick

My partner and I have made the switch to ethique for pretty much any product that they have available, but the deodorant is one of our favorites! We have trialed a few other natural deodorants, but we feel that none hold up quite like ethique’s- in fact my partner (who is a bit pickier re: deodorant than I am) says it’s the ONLY natural deodorant he’s confident in to get him through the day with minimal re-application.

One side note- this doesn’t bother us much, but it may bother others; the formula is a bit “powder-y” and if you get this one or the green one it does leave a ~tiny~ bit of a tinted cast on your pits, especially if you apply it generously. But other deodorants with worse ingredients can do that as well, so we think the tradeoff for more natural ingredients and better packaging is well worth it.

Every other deodorant stick that I’ve tried has either not worked or irritated my skin, but not this one! It smells great, goes on smooth, and lasts all day. It does sometimes leave a purple residue on clothes (it comes out in the wash without issue), so I will sometimes use the unscented version of this deodorant when being cognizant of that. Otherwise, I’m in love!

Such a lovely scent, and very effective. Many natural deodorants need reapplying during the day, but this lasts all day even when really active.

I enjoyed this more than the unscented variety. It feels like it is caring for your skin and has a nice, subtle scent. I use it after a shower and it just kind of melts in.

I have tried other brands and always end up smelling sweaty. Never with this, even after the gym or skipping a day!
