I was skeptical about converting to solid shampoo but wanted to try it in an effort to reduce plastic usage. I've been using the shampoo for a couple of weeks and so far it has been really good. The shampoo is sudsy and cleans my hair well. I exercise so my hair gets pretty sweaty. I did not purchase the conditioner bar but will plan to do so.

The old Wonderbar was my FAVORITE conditioner of all time. I have very fine and slightly wavy hair and it was the only conditioner that I had ever tried that didn’t weigh down my hair. I was skeptical when they changed the shape and scent, but wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. Not sure exactly what changes were made as far as the ingredients go but this new bar, while admittedly applying easier than the old one, does not give me the same results :( Overall, it’s fine but it’s just disappointing as someone who loved Wonderbar.

Wonderbar was such a fan favourite, so we completely understand the disappointment when something you've loved doesn’t feel quite the same. The new Volumising Conditioner Bar (formerly Wonderbar) does have a few updates — it now includes Biotin and Caffeine, and we’ve changed the shape and scent (now a zesty blend of orange, vanilla and ginger) to better match the Volumising Shampoo Bar. The formula still targets weightless moisture for fine and wavy hair, but we know even subtle changes can feel big — especially when the original was your perfect match.

Already saw the effects after the first use. Helps me control my dry and oily hair. Only need a couple of swipes through the hair to get a solid lather.

I really like the scent of this bar and I like what the product does to my hair after washing. My curls are smooth and bouncy!
However, this bar is unusually *rock-hard*, especially for a conditioner bar, and it takes me several minutes to lather up enough to barely cover my (short) hair. I've even resorted to dropping it in some water for a few minutes before I intend to use it just to soften it up a bit lol. I'm okay with this for now but i'm hoping mine was a fluke and the next one will be more useable. An otherwise good product, but buyer beware.

You’re absolutely right that our conditioner bars are firmer than shampoo bars — they’re designed that way to help them last longer and avoid going mushy in the shower. While they don’t lather (since conditioners don’t contain foaming agents), just a few swipes (4–5) should be enough to coat the hair. It won’t feel slippery like a liquid conditioner right away, but the silky magic kicks in as you rinse.
