I have just started using these products. So far, they clean and condition nicely. It usually takes a few weeks to know exactly how they really work on your hair. They smell nice, not overwhelming, lather well, and are a great way to try before purchasing larger bars, to be sure it is the correct product.
This lathered well, and helped to extend time between washes by a day.
I really liked the description of the scent, so I bought this one to try, even though I have thick hair. It did not work for me. I should just stick to the Frizz Wrangler and St. Clements instead. It did add volume to my hair, though! I would not buy again because it didn't work for my hair and because the scent was not as strong as I'd hoped (St. Clements is much more fragrant!), but I could see it working well for people who have fine/thin hair. Should have just trusted Ethique when they said it was for that hair type!
My hair and scalp are more dry than oily, so I reserve this bar for when I feel the need for a deeper clean than usual. To offset the drying effect, I've tried following it with an intensive conditioner (Too Delicious) instead of my regular conditioner, and have been happy with the results so far.
