Works well and lasts
This conditioner is so moisturising!! For someone who lives in the pool and ocean over the summer months I often struggle to find a conditioner that can keep up! This conditioner does the job and my hair has never felt healthier over the summer months
I used to use The Guardian conditioner from Ethique. This new conditioner bar leaves my hair in just as good of condition, and doesn't set off my allergies, which is great. However, the sickly-sweet scent is very off-putting. Additionally, while the conditioner is not as bad as the shampoo, the new shapes make Ethique products *much* more difficult to travel with.
I used to be able to fit one of the little trapezoidal face washes, a half of a conditioner bar, and a half of a shampoo bar in a small travel case. The new bars don't even fit in Ethique's own travel cases! And, the colors of shampoo and conditioner are so similar that, once cut down for travel, they become hard to tell apart.
Overall, this feels like a big down-grade from my old Ethique products.

The Hydrating Conditioner is a brand new formulation in our range, designed to deeply nourish and soften dry hair—but it's not a direct replacement for any previous bar. From your note, it sounds like you may have been comparing it to The Guardian, which is still available and now called our Everyday Shine Conditioner.

This conditioner along with the shampoo bar are for sure going to be in my permanent rotation-along with Nopalera! I stated in my shampoo review that this new formulation is fantastic. I was hesitant to go back to Ethique as I tried it a few years ago and it dried out my hair and scalp. My hair dresser even noticed. I switched to Nopalera-love it-that and the Ethique Moisture duo will be in my arsenal. This new duo cleans, moisturizes, and leaves my hair frizz free without residue or weighing my daily washed hair down! My training sessions leave me sweaty, and daily use of this duo cleans, refreshes, and moisturizes my mane. Glad I reconsidered this new formulation!
I absolutely love the scent of this conditioner! It’s a tart, fresh, fruity pear that’s perfect for spring/summer. It moisturizes and smooths my parched hair without leaving a residue or weighing my hair down. The result is shiny, bouncy, healthy hair! Ethique is the best haircare out there.
