Nourishing Conditioner Concentrate

Smells of mint and lavendar straight out of the box but I don't notice much of a smell after a couple uses. I fine, slightly curly hair (2c-3a) and this worked fine. I liked the consistency it achieved AFTER using an immersion blender though there were still little sand-sized bits that I couldn't smooth out. It's lasted maybe 30 washes; I don't have long hair but I can't get the stuff on my scalp down through the ends without going back for more. I didn't notice a difference between The Guardian, Nourishing Conditioner Concentrate, Too Delicious Intensive Solid Conditioner Bar, and Curliosity Co-Wash and Conditioner Bar. They all work fine, just different scents. I still need to use some coconut oil afterwards to tame frizz.

I loved making this. Found that using a stick blender helped to make it smooth. It made loads and nice to not always have a bar. Great smell and leaves my hair feeling soft and conditioned

I really love this conditioner concentrate. There's no harsh smells or goopey texture. I have fine, dry ends and this conditioner does such a nice job of hydrating the ends without making them heavy or oily. It's the perfect option if you want a little more oomph than the conditioner bars (although those are heavenly too)!

I don't usually leave reviews but I feel the need to for this product in hopes that some changes will be made to improve it. I've been using the concentrates for years and while I've always had to microwave the mixture to get all the clumps out, I didn't mind because the result was smooth and creamy for both the shampoo and the conditioner concentrates. However, with these new formulas, for som e reason the conditioner turns out watery every single time, even with microwaving and vigorous whisking. The new shampoo concentrate turns out much creamier than the conditioner, so I'm not sure what the difference in the formula is between the two, but there are serious problems with the conditioner. I don't know if it's because of the new "powder" formula, because I have noticed that every single time the "powder" has turned into a big clump that sticks to the sides of the container. I feel that the blocks were a much more stable form for the product, especially since they have to ship to your home. Perhaps the amount that sticks to the box is enough to throw the whole formula off? I'm not sure, but I think I'll switch back to using the old formula for as long as they're still available and hope that some changes are made to the new formula to ake them better. I really want to love this product as I think it's the best sustainable option out there for traditional shampoo and conditioner, so please please take these reviews into consideration and try to improve the product.
