    First shipment just received, review of packing materials only.

    There is ZERO plastic in the packing materials!

    Everything is either cardboard (box, box filler, product packages) or home compostable wrappers- which are no joke! I normally just rinse off "compostable" materials and put them in the compost curbside pickup, even though I compost all of my food and paper waste. Not this time!! There were tiny flecks of soap adhered to the inside of the package so I tore it open to rinse it off. As soon as the water soaked it, the wrapper started to dissolve. I cannot express enough how happy this makes me! I can actually compost these on site. 💕

    10/10 (as long as you received delivery in dry weather; not sure what would happen if it was delivered in a downpour)

    I am so glad that this was an option! It’s nice to be able to buy a pack of small ones to try instead of having to get a full size for something you haven’t tried. It’s also great that it comes with shampoo and conditioner.

    First time shampoo/conditioner bar user

    I did my research and compared the top 3-4 brands for solid shampoo & conditioner, decided to try Ethique first and I'm in love! First, they smell great. Second, the shampoo suds up easily and my hair feels clean. Third, no messy bottles when I travel. Fourth, eliminates use of one or two more plastic bottles = WIN! I may not even try the other brands since I'm so happy with this one, but I am excited to try the other formulas of shampoo & conditioner to find the right combination for me.
