Most importantly, this product makes my skin SOFT. I think it has great ingredients, and a nice smell that doesn't linger. It does what it claims to do, and I can easily see why others give it 5 stars.
The reason for my 3 stars (which would be 3.5 if that were an option): At first I struggled a bit with this product, but found when they say to use on damp skin, they're not kidding. I would use it RIGHT as I stepped on the bath mat, and that yielded the most success. It would be nice if there were more versatility to this product in terms of when it can be used (like, I would love to towel dry, walk from the bathroom to my bedroom, and then apply it all over my body). But that doesn't have to be a huge deal, and if it were my only gripe, I'd give this 4.5 stars.
What knocks it down a peg in my book is that even when used directly after showering, this product gets stuck in my body hair. I have hairy forearms, hair chest, hairy thighs, hair legs. I'm a hairy man. My skin underneath DOES get soft, but I'm left with these lil bits and bobs in my hairs (I try to rub them in, but at a certain point I lose the battle).
I've switched to the ethique lotion from concentrate and don't have this issue anymore. I'll use up what I have left of this product on my hands and the undersides of my forearms (my only unhairy areas lol), but with the formula as is, I can't see myself rebuying.
That being said, I imagine most of the clientele for this product does not have my body setup, and…
