FAQ

Yes, especially if it's the Ethique Curly Range!  Curls love moisture (they’ll take as much as they can get), so ours packs in shea butter, cocoa butter, and glycerine.

Think of it like feeding your curls — so nourishing ingredients like shea butter, jojoba, and castor oil are the good stuff. These natural oils keep curls softer, less tangled, and more manageable. Just steer clear of sulfates and silicones—they can leave curls feeling dry and a bit lifeless.

You’ll get plenty of creamy, fluffy lather that feels nice while you’re washing. Rinses out clean too, so your curls feel light, defined, and springy.

Whether you’ve got loose waves or tight spirals, this bar plays nicely with every curl pattern. Plus after just one wash they increase shine by 70%! Shea butter, cocoa butter, and castor oil give slip and moisture so you can detangle without a battle—and your curls will thank you. For many following the Curly Girl Method, it’s a gentle, silicone-free option that works without weighing hair down.

Completely wet your hair and the bar. Apply the shampoo bar directly to your scalp and swipe it from root to shaft. Put the bar down and lather like normal with your hands. . Rinse, then glide the conditioner bar over the mid-lengths and ends. Leave it in for a few minutes—or longer if your curls are extra thirsty. This conditioner also doubles as an amazing leave-in treatment or deep conditioner.
